Paris La Défense Arena becomes Plenitude Arena

From 1 July 2026, Europe’s largest indoor arena opens a new chapter in its development with Plenitude joining as naming partner. This milestone reflects a shared ambition: to shape the arena of tomorrow, innovative, responsible and forward-looking.

This naming partnership, running for a minimum of seven years, brings together two organisations with a shared vision of excellence, innovation and audience experience. More than a name change, this new identity reflects a joint commitment to establishing the Arena as a global benchmark for live entertainment and a concrete testbed for the energy transition in major event venues.

Paris La Défense Arena has become a reference in Europe and is now at a pivotal moment in its development. Environmental responsibility was built into the Arena from the very beginning, as a core requirement. Today, we want to go further. This partnership with Plenitude brings that ambition to life: joining forces with a partner who shares our vision of an innovative, responsible arena focused on audience experience and on the world’s most significant events. We share the same belief: environmental responsibility is not a cost — it is a driver of performance.” said Frédéric Longuépée, President of the Arena.

A shared vision for the next-generation arena

A European player active in more than 15 countries, Plenitude has established itself as one of the leaders of the energy transition, with an integrated model covering renewable energy production, electricity and gas supply, energy efficiency and electric mobility.

Plenitude’s arrival as naming partner marks a new stage in the Arena’s development. Beyond a brand association, this partnership is built on a shared ambition: to bring Plenitude’s energy expertise to bear on the venue, optimising its energy consumption and supporting its transition towards an ever more efficient and responsible operating model. This collaboration reinforces the Arena’s commitment to sustainable, innovative and future-oriented management.

Together with Plenitude, the Arena aims to accelerate the development of concrete solutions that combine event excellence, technological innovation and energy performance. The shared goal is clear: to give rise to a new generation of live experiences that are more responsible, more immersive and more efficient.

Plenitude Arena: a full-scale laboratory for the energy transition

This collaboration will translate into the gradual rollout of innovative initiatives within the Arena, including:

  • the installation of an electric vehicle charging hub through Plenitude On The Road;
  • the introduction of energy optimisation tools;
  • the development of solutions to reduce energy consumption across equipment and infrastructure;
  • public awareness initiatives focused on environmental and energy issues.

Plenitude Arena aims to become a true large-scale laboratory — one capable of testing, measuring and making visible the innovations that will shape the sustainable future of major international events.

A new identity to support the Arena’s international standing

Since its inauguration in 2017 by the Rolling Stones, the Arena has established itself as a major player in sport, live entertainment and large-scale international events.

Having hosted the Paris 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the European launch of Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour”, and with Bad Bunny and an exceptional Céline Dion residency coming soon, the Arena continues to grow its international profile.

With 100 events scheduled for the 2026–2027 season and nearly 3 million spectators expected, this first season under the Plenitude Arena name looks set to be one of the most significant since the venue opened.

Plenitude Arena is confirming its ambition to become an unmissable global destination for live entertainment, a key economic driver for the region and a benchmark for the responsible events industry.
